Clean your wooden floors
Wood flooring can be a great addition to an office and adds warmth to the space. Proper maintenance is important to keep it looking clean and well cared for. The right cleaning approach depends on the treatment and finish of the floor.
Below, we explain how we clean different types of wood floors, what to pay attention to, and which products and tools work best.
Zo kan je de vloer herkennen
Here's how to keep the floor clean at all times
Regular - oiled floor
Periodieke reiniging - geoliede vloer
Opwaarderen - geoliede vloer
Different types of floors
- Place the handle to nose height
- Hold the handle by the ball at the top, so your elbow stays in a neutral position
- Walk forward in one straight line, moving as close to the mop as possible
- Return with a zigzag motion, moving close to the mop. That way, there's no need to bend your back as much, and you can work in a nice upright position.
- Do not make angles greater than 45°, and do not mop past your left foot if you are right-handed to spare your back
Manual vs. machine
The right product for your wood floor
